This is a tough one because it depends on a couple of key factors. First, how often to you play? Second, how well do you take care of your paddle? We have customers that can play with a paddle for a couple of years and we have customers that want a new paddle every 6 or 8 months.

First, like people, paddles can be picky about extreme heat and extremely cold temperatures. Avoid leaving your paddle in your car for extended periods of time. Too many paddles get damaged this way. Second: Be nice to your paddle. Clean it once in a while with a gentle lint-free towel or cloth. Lastly, avoid being mean to your paddle. Smacking your paddle on your hip or throwing it on the ground after a tough point is never a good thing so please be nice to your new investment.
